Our Scholarship Program
Sherwood Graduating Seniors Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Sherwood will award a minimum of four (4) college scholarships to 2026 Sherwood Graduating Seniors.
Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $1000 each (but are usually more).
Applicants must be residents of Sherwood, Arkansas, OR have Sylvan Hills High School as their PCSSD zoned school and must be students in good standing. Deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Lex "Butch" Davis Memorial
Veteran's Scholarship
The Butch Davis Memorial Veteran's Scholarship was established to support students with direct ties to military service. Applicants must be a dependent son/daughter of an active duty or retired service member.
Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $1000. Applicants must be residents of Sherwood, Arkansas, OR have Sylvan Hills High School as their PCSSD zoned school and must be students in good standing. Deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Davis was a longtime Sherwood Rotarian who died in 2016. His life was the epitome of servant leadership. He ceaselessly gave of his time, talents and treasures to the people of the City of Sherwood, the Little Rock Air Force Base and all Central Arkansas Veterans. He was instrumental in establishing the Sherwood Veteran's Memorial. He was inducted into the Arkansas Military Veterans Hall of Fame and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Butch proudly served the citizens of Sherwood as an Alderman from 1998 until he retired in 2010. He was an active and lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2935 in Sherwood.
U of A - Pulaski Tech Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Sherwood will award up to 2 college scholarships to Sherwood residents who will attend the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in the fall of 2026. Applicants do not have to be a recent high school graduate to apply for this scholarship.
