Pam McElrath
Pam is the Director of Electrical Engineering at Cromwell Archetect Engineers and a dedicated Rotarian at heart. She trains champion miniature poodles, brings remarkable energy to every project she touches, and lives her passion for service in everything she does. Known for her steady leadership, Pam has a long history of stepping up when needed. Her dependability, clarity, and calm strength continue to shape the heart of our club.

Eric McKisick
Eric is the District Manager of the Social Security Administration in Sherwood, known for his steady leadership, deep knowledge of the system, and genuine commitment to helping people through some of life’s most important transitions. He brings a thoughtful, service-minded approach to Rotary, offering clear guidance, calm insight, and a strong dedication to improving the lives of those in our community.

Sherry Carter
Sherry is a retired U.S. Postal Service professional, a past president of our club, and a proud second-generation Sherwood Rotarian—married to one as well. She brings boundless energy, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm to everything she does. A member of the Top of the Rock Chorus, Sherry is a vibrant cheerleader for all our projects and a constant source of encouragement. She shows up for every service opportunity, and you can always count on her dedication, spirit, and heart for Rotary.

John Wayne Brown
Wayne is a past president of our club and the pastor of Haven Church in Sherwood. Soft-spoken but deeply influential, he is passionate about strengthening our community and championing those who are underserved. Wayne brings a big heart, a welcoming spirit, and a love for meeting new people wherever he goes. Whether traveling, volunteering, or quietly leading by example, he embodies the service-minded heart of Rotary.

Dr. Jeff A. "Jay" Powell
Jay is a family and cosmetic dentist and the owner of Sherwood Smile. A dedicated Rotarian for more than 25 years, he leads the Healthy Smiles Project and chaired the club's biggest fundraiser, Shadows of Sherwood. He is a past president and has served on the board of directors for many years. He is a Star Wars fanatic and a member of the 501st Legion. He's also a national game show champion (Wheel of Fortune).

Samantha Norvell
Sam is a seasoned communications professional with experience in digital marketing and project management. As an active Rotarian, Sam is passionate about advancing literacy initiatives and serving underserved communities, bringing both heart and skill to every project she supports.

Shelby Thomas
Shelby is a dedicated community leader currently serving on the Sherwood City Council. With a professional background in territory development and communication at Clifford Power Systems, and nearly a decade of service on the PCSSD Board of Education, he brings strong public-service experience and steady, thoughtful leadership to Rotary’s work in the community.

Director, Foundation Chair
Dr. James O. Wear
James is a distinguished clinical engineering and healthcare safety professional with a long career in education, research, and hospital systems training. He served more than four decades with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences,. Widely published and honored with numerous professional awards, James brings deep expertise, global perspective, and a lifelong commitment to service to his work in Rotary.

Director, Service Projects Chair
Charletta "Charley" Williams
Charley is a realtor with McKimmey & Associates whose heart for service shines through everything she does. She is deeply committed to helping the homeless and volunteers her time as a tutor for children in need. Charley also leads our Back to School project, raising funds and providing supplies, clothing, and essentials for local kids. Her compassion, drive, and unwavering focus on serving those who need it most make her an invaluable part of our Rotary family.

District Governor
Michelle Oglesby
Michelle serves as the District Governor for Rotary District 6150 and is a proud member of the Sherwood Rotary Club—an honor that makes our club especially excited to be her home base. She is the owner of An Angel’s Choice Adoption Agency, where she advocates for children and families with compassion and integrity. Michelle leads with her signature motto, FUD: Fun, Unity, and Diversity, inspiring Rotarians across the district to serve with joy and inclusivity.
